Scent Of A Woman

THE POWER OF SCENT
We are born into this world without the true clarity of vision. That develops over time.  Instead we innately utilise the amazing power to recognise the scent of our mother. Creatures from the animal kingdom do exactly the SAME thing. They rely on SCENT to survive.

THE POWER OF SCENT IS PURELY PRIMAL

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME?

In society today, perfume is worn by both men and women primarily to complete an outfit. Some choose to wear a "signature" scent that dates back to those primal times of being recognised by others. Others choose to select a perfume according to an occasion, such as a special date or work event.

ONLY ONE TYPE OF PERFUME?

Think again when it comes to perfumes. These days you can purchase perfume products in all sorts of combinations. Some include creams, lotions, soaps, bath oils and parfum (very strong) - Eau Fraiche (weak).

WHAT I ONCE DID

As you ALL know.... I am a sucker for advertising campaigns. A little while back now, a certain celebrity came out with a particular perfume. The perfume purchase came with the MOST GORGEOUS umbrella (beautifully glamorous black frills and bamboo style handle). The perfume made everyone around me sneeze (including myself), my lovely AND honest girlfriend told me it smelt like a 'Nanna" fragrance...... but everyone loved my umbrella!

WHAT MARILYN DID

Marilyn Monroe is perhaps the most iconic and best know for her perfume habits.... especially during an interview when she was asked about what she wears to bed.....

HER REPLY :   "What do I wear to bed? Why, Chanel No.5 of course."

Keep an eye out for more articles about perfume in future blogs.
What is your favourite perfume? When do you wear perfume?
