TRIM THAT TUMMY
Growing up I wasn't particularly sporty, unless water was involved. I have always had a love for swimming and the beach.... but sporting attire was never big on my fashion list. My "go to" casual clothing choice has always been jeans with t's, shirts or jumpers.
GET TO THE POINT
In more recent times, I had a brain snap for fitness...partially driven by a need to be able to walk 9 hours up Mt Kosi and back for a charity walk. During this "phase" my daily wardrobe consisted of trackie pants, loose tops and joggers.
The fashion world itself also got onboard the fitness bandwagon to create an upmarket version of sporty gear called "sports luxe".
The thing is.... MUM always warned me... CONSTANTLY REMINDED me (when I became pregnant with my first child 13 years ago).... NOT TO GET TOO COMFY IN THOSE LOOSE FITTING PANTS.

As soon as I could, I zipped myself back up into my JEANS. WHY? The fabric is fitted, it holds your wobbly bits in, it trains those parts to STAY IN!!! Loose fitting clothing is too forgiving, it ALLOWS for MORE expansion. Your JEANS whisper to you - "No love, no more cake today...".
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
A great alternative to trackies are good quality fitted leggings for the winter season ahead. They are cosy, comfortable and have more structure.
